Ah HA!!
VICTORY IS MINE!!

(I don't know, I just felt like Stewie for a moment and felt I should share.)
A view of the world through a resting Deity's eyes and possibly the bottom of her glass.
VICTORY IS MINE!!
It's so busy at work today, oh my GOD! I barely had anytime to breathe let alone eat lunch.
Hmmm, I just noticed that I have about a business week or so (5 days) worth of vacation days that I have to use up before the end of the year.
Well, it was a great ride and I had a lot of fun, but I'm now single again.
Art Space in New Haven is having it's 10th Annual Open House tonight which will feature art from a bunch of local artists and a chance to mingle and jingle with the artists as well. Always a plus for me.
I think transitioning to a business casual (slightly formal) office attire environment has made me really appreciate wearing jeans to work on Friday.
For anyone in the northeast, here are some things that always help me to find the silver lining even for the massive impending doom clouds that have been over us for the whole day:
If I could accurately type out the drool/moan that Homer Simpson does whenever he encounters something very delectable, I would put it here right now because that's how good this panini from Gourmet Heaven was for lunch today. However, this pic will have to suffice.
I was toying with the idea of getting a Twitter account and having it link here since I don't always have the time to actually update properly on here and I'm much more apt to have my cellphone on me and be able to text away a quick little message about what's going on and what cool place I'm visiting. So anyway, I shall update away!
Oh yeah, it's my bed and it's calling out to me even from work. "Eris...come back...you know you shouldn't have gone into work today...you were trying too hard to be the normal overachiever that you are...you were too sick to go in..."
Well, I left off my other post on my 2:45 doctor's appointment that I scheduled for Monday afternoon. Thankfully, I decided to just take the whole half of the day off from work because silly me forgot that a 2:45 appointment really means you'll be waiting an hour to have your name called and then you'll see the doctor.
Yup, I think I got away in a recirculated air office without being sick for much too long. The gods have smote me finally with something weird. Essentially, for a week my lymph nodes in the right side of my neck have been hella swollen, but I didn't feel weird aside from feeling really tired.
