A Light at the End of the Tunnel

Well, I got an interesting wall post on Facebook from a fellow engineering gal of mine and she says her company is hiring. :-D

*crossing fingers*

Also, besides that opportunity, it seems people are building things again. There are a bunch more job postings on Careerbuilder starting this week, which would follow the normal spring construction boom. So the resume is out and about in a big way and hopefully people will start biting soon.

Oh and if you didn't know this already, getting things for free just make them totally better in general. My super had bought a fairly awesome toaster oven for his wife, but sadly she looked at it and scratched her head, so hence I have now inherited said toaster oven. I will say that yes, it's a little complicated, but once you get the hang of it's funky controls it is a wonderful oven replacement indeed. The kickass thing is that it utilizes the fact that it gives off so much heat by having a warming/toasting tray right on top. YAY toasty buns!! ;-)

And yes, I'm as easily amused as a 5 year old, but whatever. I just scoff at you stiffs out there that don't squee at glee for a free toaster oven with a toaster buns tray.
