Plane Tickets
Alright, I think with my approaching bonus (hopefully, I'm crossing my fingers AHHHHH!!!) that it's finally time to stop surfing for prices online for plane tickets and actually buy them. Wish me luck!
Remember, I'm getting a round trip from JFK to LHR and then from LHR to GLA. So if you UKer's out there know of any deals from Heathrow to Glasgow, fess up! Help a Yank out!

For that, you need to check BA and bmi. Or, if you're willing to do some transfers in London, from London Stansted to Glasgow Prestwick via Ryanair or London Gatwick via Easyjet. The latter two shouldn't be necessary, though: they've driven enough competition that BA and bmi both have decent-priced flights from Heathrow.
I just checked Expedia, and they're listing lots of return flights from New York to Glasgow around the time you're looking for just £250! That's insanely cheap! That's only $488!
Yeah, I just booked one through Expedia for $450!!
And yeah, the BMI prices aren't that bad, it's actually cheaper than taking the train. And I'll check out those other links too. Thank you so much!
