You know those Listerine Strips...

...well take that concept and apply it to food. I found this on the New York Times website and thought it was pretty badass actually. Essentially, they are developing different types of edible films that not only can be infused with practically any flavor you can think of, but also can be given antimicrobial properites as well. And just think of the possibilities, other than the obvious:


(which would definitely add about 100 more pages to Miya's growing menu of sushi rolls, by the time these come out the menu will be the size of a phone book)
